Day 2Poor sad ivory keys..... Obviously abused, waiting in my shop to be lovingly restored.
This is part of what I do. Using acrylic material for repairs and old ivory keytops salvaged when replacing whole sets with new plastic, I try to restore some semblance of dignity to ivory keys that have been mistreated or overused. I think in this case, whacked by some little kid with a toy truck or some such thing - a common occurrence. Ivory is such a lovely material, it's too bad that obtaining it causes such destruction to natural order.
DAY1
The first day of my 365 found me dropping by to visit Andrew and Aspen at their house, and since it was around lunchtime, we headed up to Veraci pizza for a treat. It's fitting that the subject of my first day's photo is Aspen, my granddaughter, she's been my primary subject since I got my new Canon in December. I have a zillion pictures of her lovely smile, which displays the radiant side of her personality. I thinks this one shows off the zest with which she explores everything within the range of her little but determined fingers.
